...so last week was a BIT shit. but this week isn't so crappy (probably because i got paid this weekend and have kinda discarded less desirable aspects of this summer), so we're all good. currently addicted to the SATC movie... watched it at Michaela's boudoir t'other nuit and got about half way through it again today - after watching the Devil Wears Prada yesterday. It's all about fashion this week! OH, Madonna. Caught the Sticky & Sweet broacast on Sunday. Fabularse, of course. I would have watched it Saturday, but was alas working... I say working, it was one of the best jobs I have ever done. Beaucoups de Francais!!

Speaking of fashion, here is the world's greatest male model.

By no means his greatest picture, but Jon Kortajarena (try and say it... go on...) seems to crop up quite a lot in Tom Ford's campaigns (who I adore) and is the definition of eye candy. Seems a great guy too. We'd get along so well...

I've also started reading 'Glamorama' by Bret Easton Ellis (properly, started it SO long ago) and am loving it. Don't think I'm anywhere near the actual plot yet, but it's quite an interesting look into celebrity culture... tongue in cheek... fucking HILARIOUS too.

So tomorrow is all about trying to get more work... a weekly shift has appeared, which is a slight life saver, but more is needed! What else was I supposed to do? Hopefully I'll remember come morning...!

xoxo

...picking up where I left off.

So uni is over. Fini. Fin. GONE. For a year at least. Passed all my exams and next years modules look fabularse so there's that to look forward to. I am however in job and money crisis in this godforsaken place that I used to call home so am feeling a bit cynical, which is something I don't like feeling very often but I just can't help it here! Gonna have to ring around Aldeburgh at some point to get a more consistent job. With 2 jobs already, you'd think I'd be alright! May well spend a bit of my wages on clothes... seeing as I practically have none. Although I really should save most of it if I am to go grape picking in France in september as mother suggested - what? Life is sweet! Must stay positive... I did just have quite a glorious selection of sushi, so it's not all bad after all. Should be meeting up with Michaela and Lara next week for food/coffee/chats whatever, so that should be cool. But more spending!!! Tearing. hair. out. Gah! Things will sort themselves out. If not I am complaning. Who to, I cannot say. Surely someone's gotta be fired for this fuck up?!

L.o.v.e. xoxo

ELEVEN WEEKS AGO? So much for consistent updates... I've realised I have profiles at many of the internets websites. NETWORKING WHORE. But anyway... at home for Easter which is proving to be a bit of an eye-opener. First year is SO OVER - well actually it's not, the shortest semester is yet to come, but it's over for more. That freshers feeling is gone. Not even sure I liked that feeling to begin with... but this summer should be amazing. Hopefully. Watch this space.

...so I MAY have gotten a LITTLE more trashed than I planned to last night, which may have resulted in me choosing to go out after our little block party to celebrate the bloke next doors' birthday...

...which may have resulted in me getting a bit crazy and dancing on a ledge in a club with some equally as crazy friends to Lady GaGa... followed by Katy Perry, Britney, Beyonce, Rihanna, Sugababes...

I know right, THAT amazing. I don't usually like this place so much (its called the Raz, seems to be an indie kid sort of place, The Beatles frequented) because its a bit of a dive, but the DJ FINALLY got past the cheese that everyone else was in awe of and seemed to move on to a set of my favourite songs. Weird?

Anyway, so, the reason I hadn't planned to go out was the fact I had an introductory History seminar this morning on that British History module. I actually made breakfast this morning after having woken up feeling FANTASTIC of course, but came back to find absolutely NO change for the bus into campus, although I was sure I saw some on my desk yesterday... which I then found in my back pocket.

Screwed over by my own crappy memory.

SO - I watched the rest of American Beauty, finished Eclipse and started Breaking Dawn instead.

So no hates, only loves today! Apart from maybe whatever e-mail I get from my seminar leader... who I haven't actually met yet... but I forgot my group/time/room right?

Ok, so I just had the introductory lecture for my British History module, 1851-1992...

Have to admit, I was a bit apprehensive at first, the words 'british', 'history' and 'dull' always seemed to appear in the same sentence, but hey, Jack The Ripper, economic decline and political unrest? All sounds very dramatic, so, I'm in!

Picked up some vitaminwater on the way back to halls, which wasn't too clever considering the amount of money that I do not have, but it's just so good - how could - resist?

So, todays loves = british history, vitaminwater and Eclipse (third book in the twilight series... Seriously up into the early hours of this morning!!)

Todays hates = getting up early for an INTRODUCTORY lecture - yeah, the module looks good, but worth depriving me of sleep? No. Also, warm milk. Ew.

Gossip Girl tonight! The last episode was just too, too good... Can't wait!

On that note... Xoxo!

So hi ya'll! If there is any ya'll anymore... I had better get adding people if I want this to be a successful comeback right? Jokes... the comeback thing just sounds dramatic :O But right, it's the start of a new semester (that's right, university!) so everything's a bit fresh and I'm planning to use this thing a whole lot more.

My own little blog.

Maybe I'll post a few other things along the way. Who knows!

Anyone who owns one will tell you though, a Blackberry makes this sort of thing SO much easier. Speaking of which, I'm thinking my current 'madonna with her blackberry' icon is a bit invasive, especially next to that bright blue (this layout is temporary until I have the time to make something AMAZING)... jeez!! So let's settle for my current obsession, Twilight.

xoxo.

ah. exams, finished. the first exams i actually felt confident about! chemistry went really well, as did history, despite the fact my lung collapsed last week. ah yes...another story. i did have a doctors note for my exams, which was needed really, it was pretty painful, but i did have an operation, and it should be ok. apparently i should watch for the symptoms again though, there is a very high chance of it happening again, which is pretty shit really, but thats something im gonna have to deal with. anyway, exams. i am aiming pretty high, i studied quite a lot for these exams, i will be disappointed if my grades aren't that high. i should have more faith in myself really!

i have gone RIGHT off victoria beckham.

will explain later.

its COLD.

today has been a good day. went over this girl in the year above me's house today to study for my exams next week, which she is retaking. i don't think she was very happy with her grades. anyway, we had raspberry cheescake and pizza, which was delicious. i didn't actually think i liked either! we didn't get an amazing amount of work done, but i got to know her a little better, which was cool. because she is cool *lol*. she was recommending all of these artists that i should listen to, one of them being regina spektor. i have one of regina's albums, her latest one, but i would really like to listen to some of her other stuff. and apparently kristen scott thomas is her brothers godmother, which i was pretty surprised to learn! she plays katherine in the english patient, which is my favourite film. seriously, fantastic, i adore it. so much that i own the screenplay, the novel and the soundtrack. *lol*

*coughs* god, why i do i keep coughing? its getting annoying. its very uncomfortable, i have this consistent pain in my chest.

i have to go to work tomorrow, which im not too happy about, because i honestly would rather be studying for next weeks exams. i have one in chemistry on thursday, and one in history on friday. i love both subjects, so i have much more of an incentive to study them. we have also started reading the mayor of casterbridge by thomas hardy in english. well, the first three chapters, but im quite enjoying it so far, so i am looking foward to reading it. i really should read more, i have so many books that i want to read, but never get round to reading.

and im not pleased with victoria beckham at the moment, wanting to buy a house in LA to be closer to tom bloody cruise. and katie, obviously. when david wants to move back to the UK for good. which in my opinion, is OBVIOUSLY the better choice. im not sure what their problem is with madrid at the moment...i know things don't seem to be going well for him at real...i'm really not sure. but i don't want him moving the america. and he doesn't want to either. so that works out pretty well! :) unless victoria gets what she wants. bitch. i don't mind her really, but i don't agree with them moving to america. anyway, enough about the beckhams.

*yawns* need. sleep. xxx

well. its almost november. doesnt time fly. hello again...anyone who reads this! ill be leaving comments on all your profiles anyway. so...instead of going through everything in one huge block of text, here is a list of what has happened over the past few months. it really isnt that exciting by the way. and there isn't that much of it. but still.

- Madonna, 3rd August - This was fucking amazing! I still can't believe i actually saw MADONNA in person. Performing. Right in front of me! ♥ ♥ ♥

- GCSE's - Well...to be honest I can't remember EXACTLY what I got, but I got all the grades i needed/wanted so i was pleased :D

- London...again - I went to London twice in the summer. I want to go again! Maybe I will go I did take Music Tech for two weeks. Its not all its cracked up to be. So I dropped it :) Good job as well, I would have FAR too much work if I didn't. I actually love going to school! Not just for that reason, obviously, which leads me on to my next bullet point. lol.

- I told my Chemistry teacher i loved him. LONG, LONG, LONG story. But I have felt this way about him since May...and I see him almost every day for Chemistry. Lots of stuff has happened, so I won't go into it. But he knows. And I love him. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

and to be honest thats about it. unless i think of something else...then i will have to edit. but they are all major events. lol. especially the last one. anyway. hope to speak to all of you soon...

;) ♥

ah...well, haven't been here in a while have I...avec exams and all...and the massive amount of studying I have not been doing ;)

seriously, i just don't do it. maybe I should go do some now. nah...

i am in love with madonna. not like that. but i love her so much. i bought her 'like a prayer' album last wednesday [along with 'hounds of love' by kate bush for a bargain 3.99!!] and its fantastic. one of her best, easily. but not as good as ray of light. or confessions. no no. i cant believe in less than two months [two months yesterday!] i am going to be in the same room as madonna. not only that, she is going to be bouncing around the stage with her hand down her pants. yep.

apart from the current madonna obsession, there really aren't any other stories to tell. no news whatsoever. which is probably why i haven't posted here in a while. in the summer, i'll be here most days! my summer officially starts on june 23rd. thats when my exams end.

speaking of exams, i have SIX next week. shit.

speak soon all.

...I have an English Literature exam on Tuesday...Shouldn't I be studying? Of course I should...doesn't mean I will. No...I will at some point...I just don't know when...

Jarhead - Saw it last weekend, it was a lot better than expected, and prompted me to buy Kanye West's 'Jesus Walks' [great song, love the lyrics]. It was in the credits. And also started my current obsession with Madonna's 'American Life' album. I tell you what...I will list my current obsessions...well, they are not obsessions as such.

Current 'Obsessions':

Madonna 'Hung Up' - Came out months ago...but I'm still in love with it ;)

The Virgin Suicides Soundtrack - Bought it last week [I had a copied version, but it was missing a couple of songs, and I like the artwork...]. I adore it. The perfect electronica chill-out album. Along with anything else by Air.

Kirsten Dunst - I love Lux, the character she plays in The Virgin Suicides. I can't really imagine her as anyone else. Kirsten Dunst IS Lux. She is also very attractive. I've always liked Kirsten Dunst though.

Eric Bana - Munich. Fantastic film. He is in it, and watching it again today, I realised how much I liked him. I like his hands and I love his eyes.

Eyes - I LOVE EYES. Not actual eyeballs...that would be a bit strange. But the people I like, all have beautiful eyes.

My science teacher - Where shall I begin...I'm not going to bother to begin, because I will never finish. I'm infatuated with him. His eyes are only second to Jake's [Gyllenhaal].

Madonna 'American Life' - I love this album at the moment. Especially 'Hollywood', 'X-Static Process' and 'Die Another Day'. Its so underated. The videos for the singles were all fantastic [If you have seen the original American Life video...the one that was released may be the worst video of all time].

Thats all for now I guess. Oh...Madonna's tour begins tomorrow. I can't believe I forgot...hmmm...Also, our teachers have 'announced' that there is a skiing trip to Northern Italy next February...I'm debating whether to go or not. 'Should I stay or should I go?'

Bon soir...I haven't updated in a while, well, not that long really, but I am usually on here all the time and I haven't been for the past few days...Well, my French Oral exam on Thursday went very well, I got my target grade [my teacher thinks...] and I'm still on for a B in French :) Yes...I saw Munich on Friday night, I've been meaning to watch it for a while, but my dad picked up a copy in Hong Kong last week, which saves me buying it. It was brilliant, I recommend it to anyone and everyone. He also got Hostel, which I watched earlier today. The start of it was a bit shit to be honest, but it got better as it got more disturbing and gory...;) I was quite disappointed with it, especially seeing as Quentin Tarantino was involved with the film. It reminded me of Silent Hill a bit...not the movie, which I haven't seen yet, but the games...The whole atmosphere of it, and how shocking some of it was. Parts of it were very well shot, and really does scare you. At this moment in time, I should be doing an English essay. Two infact. Hmmm...well, its not as if I'm going to do them right now. I always get them done eventually, but I manage my time so stupidly. I leave almost no time for work, which isn't very good seeing as my exams have started. Madonna's new photoshoot by Steven Klein was unveiled a couple of days ago...very equestrian, and very good. Her tour begins soon...Oh how excited I am!

As some of you know, and if you have looked at my profile *lol*, it is my dream to live in Calgary, Canada, or at least go there. So today, in Math, I asked my Canadian teacher where in Canada she lived...She said Alberta, and I very excitedly, said 'REALLY?!' and she then said that she had lived in Calgary...You can only imagine how excited I got...She asked me why I wanted to know, and I told her that I wated to go/live there...She said that it was a very nice city, and that she wouldn't mind moving back. She also said that it had a lot of money, or something about its financial state *lol* and so it wouldn't be very hard to find a job there. She then told me that if I ever wanted to talk about it with her, then she was there. OMG!!! It's meant to be! I have always known she was from Canada, but I can't believe she lived in Calgary! Will definately be talking to her about it...as much as I can! *YAY*...In other news, it has recently been 'officially announced' that 'Get Together' is the next single from Madonna's 'Confessions on a Dance Floor'...for those of you who have it...how shit is that?! Don't get me wrong, its a good song [that rhymes...;)], but it would be one of my last choices for a single, especially with a tour coming up.......well, thats all for now <3 I now worship my Math teacher.

Okay, so I watched Brokeback on Saturday night...It was strange watching it at home, alone, I felt much more of a connection with the movie, if that makes sense. It was a lot more intimate than when watching it in the cinema, probably because it was just me, and not an entire audience. Oh, I love that film so much...Before that I watched both volumes of Kill Bill, well, actually I watched the second half of Volume 2 today...I hadn't seen them for...months I think. They are fantastic movies, or movie, seeing as they are actually just one film split into two parts...JV [best friend JV...her real name is Heather...] is allowed to go to London by herself now, which means that when we go and see Madonna we will spend the day in London beforehand *YAY* I <3 London. I don't think I've been since...I think its a couple of years since I've been into London city centre, but I went last November to see The White Stripes with my dad...who at the present, is on a flight to Hong Kong, on business (what kind of business? I forgot to ask him...) I wish I was going to Hong Kong, it would be a lot better than staying here, where I am bored out of my mind. Thats why I use the internet so much...my only escape :(

Brokeback Mountian has finally arrived from play.com...*YAY*...even though its out on Monday...they always send things early <3 I have watched all the featurettes, which were very good, but I am watching the movie tonight... I haven't seen it for two weeks, which is a long time for me! Yesterday, I borrowed The Good Girl from a friend. It was a very good film, but quite depressing, and it didn't end the way I wanted it to...If you have seen it you will know what I mean, if you haven't the check it out. After watching, I listened to the Donnie Darko soundtrack, as I usually do when I am a little depressed. The music is quite sombre, and settling...mmmm...But today, I've been listening to Madonna's 'Confessions on a Dancefloor' non-stop. Preparing for when I go and see her...I've been looking at some of the America seating charts and the Wembley Arena is tiny compared to most of them, which is obviously better because I will actually be able to see everything. Some of those arena's are huge...They will be able to hear her yes, but see her? She will just be a tiny dot on the stage! The DVD of her last tour may actually get a release before this tour ends, but it doesn't look likely...her documentary is coming out in June though, along with a soundtrack of some sort. She must be raking it in....anyway...I saw a magazine I wanted today, its called Mixmag and Alison Goldfrapp was on the cover. I was going to buy it, then I remembered that I owed my parents money for the Brokeback DVD...I would much rather have the movie than anything else...I was thinking to myself yesterday though, what would I rather do? Wait a few months to get Brokeback and go and see Madonna in August, or not see Madonna and get Brokeback now? Madonna or Brokeback Mountain??? ... ... ... ... Thats how much I love them both...I still don't have an answer ... ... ... ... yeah, so, done for today.
